Money Earth Scales

How to Donate

We need a certain amount of money just to keep running over the year.

Costs include meeting room hire, website maintenance and development, leaflets and flyers, venue hire, expenses for speakers etc. etc.

None of us are paid for the work we do, and we do not get any money from central Friends of the Earth, though they sometimes give us support in the form of some publicity material, and of course, advice and speakers.

Over the years we have run a number of fundraising events - a quiz, sponsored walks, a concert and others. If you have ideas for other fundraisers, and would like to help organise something, we'd love to hear from you.

If you would like to contribute directly, either with a one-off donation or a standing order, you can do so via our bank account, using the following details:

Bank account details:
Bank: Cooperative Bank

Account Name: Brent Friends of the Earth,
Sort code 08-92-99

Account number 65216664
If you contribute via a direct payment, please also include your name as the reference, so that we know where the money has come from.

Printer Ink Recycling

Another way in which you can contribute is through recycling your printer ink cartridges. This has been set up by one of our members, and you can find more details here.

If we are to be effective climate activists in the future, we need to look after our physical and mental wellbeing now.
